Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.

Sep 20, 2013 3:01 AM

I am getting the following errors in Safri and Chrome on both Mac and Windows machines:

'

Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.

The following local application on your computer or network:

/Users/Mike/Downloads/flashpaxenk18MACsm/gensixws.html

is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:

/Users/Mike/Downloads/flashpaxenk18MACsm/pickedx.swf'

The Flashplayer just stops working.

Is this fixable?  Particulalry on my Mac?

Thsi alert appears when a local (on your HD) SWF file tries to access an external link. In your Flash Player Global Settings (System Preferences>Flash Player on the Mac) or (Windows Control Panel - switch to large icons - look for the Flash Player (32 bit ) icon), Under the Advanced tab>Developer Tools click "Trusted Location Settings" and browser to the SWF listed in the alert and add it as a trusted location file.
