I am getting the following errors in Safri and Chrome on both Mac and Windows machines:
Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation.
The following local application on your computer or network:
is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location:
The Flashplayer just stops working.
Is this fixable? Particulalry on my Mac?
Thsi alert appears when a local (on your HD) SWF file tries to access an external link. In your Flash Player Global Settings (System Preferences>Flash Player on the Mac) or (Windows Control Panel - switch to large icons - look for the Flash Player (32 bit ) icon), Under the Advanced tab>Developer Tools click "Trusted Location Settings" and browser to the SWF listed in the alert and add it as a trusted location file.
Thanks for that.
This doesn't work, unfortunately - I've even tried trusting the whole folder. Same error.
I've tried a number of different browsers - they all have the same error except one. Omniweb seem to run with not problems.
